THE CAREER AGENCY has responsibilities to you as a course participant to provide you with a quality of service that will assist and direct you in creating a quality resume showcasing your abilities and achievements, highlighting what you bring to future employers based on industry best practice.

It is an essential pre-condition to you engaging in this online course that you agree and accept that THE CAREER AGENCY is not legally responsible for any loss or damage you may incur in seeking future employment. Your use of, or reliance on, any information or materials in this course is entirely at your own risk, for which we are not liable.

Enrolment Agreement

By accepting these terms, the course participant agrees to pay the course amount using the payment method options available during the online enrolment process.

The participant accepts that the full amount of the course is required at time of enrolment, no refund will be forthcoming if the course is not completed. Refer to Course Withdrawals and Refunds for additional information.

If the participant is under 18, the parent/guardian is responsible for the payment of the course.

The approximate duration of the course is stated in the course’s FAQ’s.

Course commencement is the date payment is received and login details are provided.

Course materials are supplied in an online environment and are available for viewing online, with some files downloadable for easy use.

The content of the online course material, including Copyright and all other such intellectual property rights contained therein, remain the property of THE CAREER AGENCY.  

You may not reproduce or share any part of the online course material without the prior consent of THE CAREER AGENCY.

Course materials, course content and assessment are subject to change.

Course materials are provided online via our Learning Management System (LMS) 24/7. The eLearning site may occasionally be unavailable during scheduled maintenance.  In the event that our eLearning system becomes unavailable, course materials will be provided by another mode of delivery if necessary.

All care has been taken by THE CAREER AGENCY to provide latest industry knowledge, adhering to best practice, and to ensure course content is current at time of publication.  

THE CAREER AGENCY TAKES NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR EMPLOYMENT OUTCOMES. As scanning technology is constantly evolving, while recommendations in this course have been given, and all resume templates at time of publication are Applicant Tracking System (ATS) friendly, it is recommended to seek specific advice from recruiters or employers regarding requirements for their scanning software prior to applying for specific role(s).

Optional printed materials are available for the online course within Australia only, additional charges apply.

Independent research beyond the course materials may be required to complete the various course exercises to ensure best outcomes for the participant.  While not compulsory, this is recommended.

Access to course material is twelve (12) months from date login details are provided.  Extensions available on request, additional fees may apply.

Course Withdrawals and Refunds 

THE CAREER AGENCY complies with the Australian Consumer Law in regard to refunds. We are not required to provide a refund if you change your mind about the course that you choose to enrol into.

However while course fees are non-refundable, course participants may have extenuating circumstances that prevent them from undertaking their course.  Where evidence can be successfully provided to support individual circumstances, course fees may be refunded or partially refunded as per the following.

This decision of assessing the extenuating circumstances rests with the Managing Director and shall be assessed on a case-by-case situation.

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted and enforced in accordance with the laws of Australia as applicable. Enrolment from outside of Australia is undertaken at the users own risk and THE CAREER AGENCY provides no guarantee that the content of this course is relevant to country of Origin outside of the stated jurisdiction. This is for the user to determine and THE CAREER AGENCY takes no liability whatsoever directly or indirectly, for any loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with use of or reliance on any such content in the Service available.
